Questions, answered

What classes do you offer at Meraki Pilates and Yoga?

Meraki Classic
Our signature mat Pilates class focuses on strength, control, and precision. Expect intentional sequences that challenge your core, build muscular endurance, and bring attention to your alignment. You’ll move with purpose, refine your form, and learn how small adjustments can deepen the work. Foundational doesn’t mean easy.

Meraki Sculpt
Our higher-intensity format brings a strength-focused approach to the mat. Expect challenging sequences with weights and resistance, controlled repetitions, and sustained effort that tests your endurance. You’ll push your pace while keeping your form intentional, with options to adjust the challenge throughout.

Meraki Yoga
An intentional practice connecting breath and movement to build strength, balance, and mobility. Make space to focus, explore your range of motion, and reconnect with your body.

All classes are 45 minutes for an intentional workout.

Are classes beginner friendly?

Yes! Our instructors guide your form and offer options to adjust the challenge. Expect intentional movement, clear direction, and room to push yourself.

Meraki Classic is a strong place to start. It's also a class you’ll keep coming back to as you get stronger.

Is the studio heated?

Meraki is intentionally a non-heated studio. We want your attention on your form, your control, and the work you’re putting in. Our intensity comes from the movement. Expect deep holds, deliberate reps, and a challenge you can feel.

What should I bring to class, and when should I arrive?

Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable workout clothes you can move freely in. Classes are taken barefoot or in grip socks. Please skip regular socks, as they can slide.

We thoughtfully provide STAKT mats and all equipment at no extra charge. Mat towels are encouraged, but optional. You’re also welcome to bring your own mat.

First visit? Arrive 15 minutes early so we can welcome you, show you around, and help you settle in. We’ll also confirm your waiver is complete.

How do I book a class? Also, what if the class I want is full?

To book a class, head to our Schedule page, choose your class, and reserve your mat.

Booking opens 14 days in advance. Plan ahead to get the times you want!

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist through our booking schedule. If a spot opens, you may be automatically added up to 2 hours before class begins. Keep an eye on your booking notifications, and remove yourself from the waitlist if you’re no longer available.

Do you offer memberships and class packs?

Yes. Whether Meraki is part of your weekly routine or your next drop-in, we have an option for you. Explore memberships, class packs, and single classes on our Pricing page.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel at least 12 hours before class so another client has the opportunity to take your spot.

Members are charged $15 for a late cancellation and $20 for a no-show. For class packs and single classes, a late cancellation or no-show forfeits the class credit.

What if I’m running late?

We offer a 5-minute grace period after class begins. After that, entry closes and your reservation is treated as a no-show.

This policy minimizes distractions and helps ensure you have time to warm up safely. Please arrive early, give yourself time to park, and be ready to begin with the class.

Where can I park?

Free 2-hour street parking is available on Taft Avenue, with metered parking on Merrick Road. Give yourself time to find a spot and check posted signs.

Are classes suitable for all levels?

Yes. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or already have a consistent routine, our instructors offer modifications and progressions to help you find your challenge.

Meraki Classic is our recommended starting point for clients new to Pilates. Sculpt brings a higher-intensity experience. In every class, you’re encouraged to work with control and take adjustments when you need them.

Can I attend if I’m pregnant?

Please speak with your prenatal healthcare provider before booking to discuss whether our classes are appropriate for you. Contact us before your first visit and let your instructor know you’re pregnant so we can discuss the class format and available modifications.

Our classes are non-heated, but they are not dedicated prenatal classes unless specified.

What if I have accessibility needs?

We want you to feel comfortable and supported from the moment you arrive. If you have questions about accessing the studio or participating in class, please reach out before your visit. We’re happy to talk through your needs and explore how we can support you.

Our classes include mat-based floor work, so let us know if getting down to or up from the mat is a concern. We’ll help you understand what to expect before you book.

Is there an age requirement?

Classes are open to clients ages 18 and older. Clients ages 16–17 are welcome with a signed parent or guardian consent form completed before their first class.
